Reflections from a Mom
June 19, 2009
I recently had the joyous occasion to attend my Son’s wedding in North Carolina. As a wedding officiate I have stood and presided over many couples choosing to make the big leap into marriage but nothing has ever come close to being an honored guest sitting in the front row watching my only child become a husband. A flood of feelings poured through my mind that day – pride, respect, awe and even a little relief that I had done something right – that my son, despite some bumps in the road was on his way to not only a love-filled life but a life based on mutual respect and commitment. Every detail of the wedding ceremony was a reflection of who they were as a couple. As many couples do these days, they chose to forego time honored traditional wedding music and chose instead music and lyrics that spoke to them and reflected their individual personalities. The music was a collaboration of their two personalities and it fit perfectly. Their vows were beautiful in their simplicity and came from the depths of their hearts. As they looked into each other’s eyes, reciting their vows one could not miss the love that they feel for each other. I could not take my eyes off of them during the ceremony and could not help thinking that every experience they had ever had, every turn in the road for each of them had brought them to this very moment where they stood before their family and friends pledging their love and commitment to one another. As a parent one couldn’t ask for more – and I don’t. I know my son and new daughter-in law will have joy and happiness in their future and no matter what the future brings they will have each other.

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope that you will find my site helpful in assisting you during this important part of your wedding planning.

I have specialized in Custom Designed wedding ceremonies and Specialty Ceremony Options on Florida's beautiful gulf coast since 2004. I work from my heart to creatively design a ceremony that fits your style and will be a unique reflection of your love. Couples today are very diverse and made up of many different cultures, religious backgrounds, etc. Your ceremony should reflect you as a couple, your love, your relationship, and your beliefs and values.

You are beginning one of life’s most sacred and meaningful adventures! Marriage IS the heart and soul of all human relationships and your wedding will be an expression of you as a couple. Each word spoken should communicate your personality, your happiness, and your promises to one another.

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and deserves the utmost consideration of your style and of the message you wish to convey. I am more than an Officiate who speaks some words at your ceremony – I truly do what I love and love what I do.

Whether you plan a small gathering of friends and family on the beach, an intimate at-home event or a black tie formal affair or renewal of vows, I will work to meet your needs and help you create a memorable and personal presentation that is uniquely yours. Your wedding ceremony is the official start of your life together and I know how much you want it to be special, meaningful and personal.
