The beautiful beach at North Bean Pt., on Anna Maria Island set the stage for Beth & Byron's "Surprise" elopment in May.
Beth contacted me in March from what she described as "cold and rainy" Missouri. She and Byron found me online and saw where I specialize in including children and family into a wedding ceremony and wanted to share their ideas and vision for their special day.
Beth and Byron were bringing their children (3,5,6, and 8 . . . quite the blended family) on a trip to Disney World in May and planned a surprise elopement while here. They had both been previously married the frills were not important to them - it was all about their families coming together as one. Byron is in the military and was away on a long deployment so when her gave Beth her ring he also wanted to present his daughter, age 3 with one as well. The boys were also given dog tags, engraved with promises they were all making to each other. The family all formed "A Circle of Love" filled with love and promises - the moment was sweet and tender. The boys walked her down the aisle where Byron and their daughter met to exchange their vows.
One of the highlights of the ceremony is when Beth and Byron surprised the children by giving them Mickey Mouse shirts, indicating that they were all going to be going to Disney the next day. The entire ceremony was a celebration of love and family. As the sun slowly set on the beach at North Bean Point on Anna Maria Island, the night was magical and full of love and renewal.
