It was a celebration of love and family that brought Vira and Lou to Longboat Key for their June nuptials. Vira contacted me initially to just officiate their ceremony but soon realized the “challenges” of trying to plan a wedding long distance and retained my services to assist her choosing the right vendors to bring her vision to life. Vira had a beautiful vision of what she wanted her special day to be and wasted no time in meticulously carrying out each and every one which is evident in the photos. One of the most important factors to her for the ceremony was the inclusion of their families. The chairs were set-up in a semi-circle so each guest had a clear and close-up view of the ceremony. At one point all the guest made a circle around Vira and Lou signifying their love and support for their marriage.
Vira provided parasols for all the women guests which made for beautiful photos.
One of the highlight of the ceremony was when Lou made some heartfelt promises to the boys, calling them the “children of his heart” and promising to always be there for them. He then presented the boys with a gift. In turn the two boys presented Lou with a gift and they all embraced each other – it was a very sweet and tender moment leaving us all a little teary-eyed!
Following the ceremony Vira, Lou, the boys and their families made their way to the Columbia Restaurant on St. Armands' for a small, intimate reception.
Best wishes, Vira and Lou. May you have a life filled with God’s richest blessings!
