§ Have a poem or reading read at the beginning of the ceremony expressing your love and that they are missed.
§ If your father is deceased and was going to walk you down the aisle you can put a note in the program that you are walking down the aisle in loving memory of him.
§ You can place a simple bouquet on an empty seat where your mother or fiancé’s mother were going to be seated.
§ Did your loved one have a favorite hat or keepsake that was special to them? You can set up a table with their picture and the keepsake.
§ Instead of favors at your reception make a donation in their memory to a foundation such as breast cancer research, or the Alzheimer’s Foundation, etc. and acknowledge the donation in their memory on a card at each place setting.
