Remembering Your Loved Ones

August 14, 2010

§          Have a poem or reading read at the beginning of the ceremony expressing your love and that they are missed.

§          If your father is deceased and was going to walk you down the aisle you can put a note in the program that you are walking down the aisle in loving memory of him.

§          You can place a simple bouquet on an empty seat where your mother or fiancé’s mother were going to be seated.

§          Did your loved one have a favorite hat or keepsake that was special to them? You can set up a table with their picture and the keepsake.

§          Instead of favors at your reception make a donation in their memory to a foundation such as breast cancer research, or the Alzheimer’s Foundation, etc. and acknowledge the donation in their memory on a card at each place setting.

"Christina was great to work with. Planning a Florida beach wedding from Indiana would have been very difficult for us. Christina put everything together including the location, the officiant and the photographer as well as offering great ideas and additions to our ceremony. Every email was answered right away and each change was accommodated. Our ceremony was EXACTLY what we wanted. I highly recommend Weddings By Christina!"   ~   Read More »
